Life. It has been hectic lately, filled with new joys and familiar challenges.  For me, I have been in full-on wedding planning mode.  I must confess that I have forgotten to sit in the "mess" of wedding planning, moving, finalizing last-minute details, and just breathe.  Today has been for that: breathing.  I was writing out some sweet cards this morning for my bridal party, while doing that I had some praise and worship music playing softly in my ears. As I read over the words I jotted down, I cried. Not because of what I wrote, but because of what they were representing: a new beginning. A farewell if you will.  Over the past year of traveling back and forth, knowing that one day this day, my soon-to-be wedding day, would come, I realized that the emotions would eventually hit me. While I know they haven't fully hit me, I am beginning to feel them. My life here, my sweet and blessed life here with my family is coming to a close. Ending one life, beginning ano...

Why hello. How art thou, my friends? Life has been a blur lately. How are you? I am doing better than I deserve, and by God's grace I am living each day (though I could learn a thing or two about waiting well).  As I sit in this new and exciting season, I have been trying to be purposeful in how what I do with  the time I have been given. As many of you know, I adore flowers. Like they're my jam! Last year I collected a gallon sized bag of seeds and saved them for the purpose of planting again this year. So, as soon as the weather became warm enough (doesn't take THAT long here in Florida, lol), I prepared the soil and got to planting! Zinnias, Marigolds, Cosmos, Sweetpeas, Dahlias, Texas Blue Bonnets, Poppies, Daisys, Black-eyed Susans, and SO many more. Oh and my mint. Y'all, I love my mint! I had three containers of it that needed to go in the ground and thankfully, they're now thriving in the Florida dirt. *cue a happy dance* Planting, weeding, and watering dail...

Hello all! While I may be rather inconsistent, I actually do enjoy writing and sharing these End-Of-The-Year posts. The look back on all what the Lord has done; how He has answered prayers, well it's truly a gift and one that is definitely worth documenting.  Grab some tea, and let us look back on all the wonderful things the Lord has done in 2025! January :  What a honest blessing from the Lord - He not only blessed us with another year, but He also gave us the sweet and "magical" gift of snow. In all my years of living in Florida, this was the first time I have ever seen the snow stick on the ground for more than a minute. It was truly amazing and I am SO glad I got to see it.  So many wonderful things took place in the month of January - all gifts from God. :)  February : Between family birthdays, cold weather, walks on the beach with three of my lovely sisters, and sweet cards sent in the mail, February was a pretty good month.
