The Maze Runner book review

The Maze Runner by James Dashner - have you noticed that the word color matches the color on the book cover?  Yeah, I'm into it. :-p After my Hunger Games faze - though I still think I am going through this - my sister found  these  books on Amazon and thought about giving them a try.  Well, she did and told me I needed  to read them ASAP (I had just finished reading Divergent).  I started reading The Maze Runner book and by chapter two I was hooked!   What about this book did you liked? Well, for one it was just different!  I wasn't sure how I'd get in to another book after my HG and Divergent faze - though I really didn't like Divergent, but that's for another post!  By definition TMR was a cliff-hanger!  I was on the edge of my seat with the turn of each and every page, no lie.  The way that the characters spoke was different; a little hard to get used to in the beginning, but nonetheless it was good.  I like new things and new adventures, and this

Disney 30 Day Challenge

Hey everyone!  I know it's been a while - things have been busy! :-p   My sister sent me this challenge via Pinterest  and I thought about doing a blog post about it. I'm a big fan of Disney so I thought that this would be tons of fun. :-) Here goes! Day 1: Favorite movie Cinderella. Day 2: Favorite princess  Ariel from The Little Mermaid.  Day 3: Favorite prince  Prince Eric.  However, I really wanted to marry the Grand Duke from Cinderella.  You can read about that  here. Day 4: Favorite song Okay, so as I was telling my sister which song I was going to pick for day 4, she said something about the music in Disney's The Hunchback  of Notre Dame and I thought "why didn't I pick THAT song?" So... I am picking... The Bells of Notre Dame When this song hits 6 minutes, I get chills! Why isn't this on Broadway?  Day 5: Favorite kiss This one. Why? Because this is (I believe) the only tim

Google  A few posts ago I shared  this  quote: "God never does anything to us that isn't for us." (Elisabeth Elliot)  It is from her book "Be Still, My Sou" that my sister got for her birthday.  Is there a reason for this post?  Nope.  I just wanted to share some  inspiring quotes from an inspiring lady. :-) This woman is one of many whom I greatly admire and esteem. This last quote has to be one of my favorites! I encourage you to read  this  and maybe even consider downloading it yourself  here . They are great verses and I think it a great idea to memorize His Word.  Random, I know.  But oh, so worth it! :-) Do you have a favorite Elisabeth Elliot book or quote?  If so, I'd love to know it. :-) Blessings, Sarah
