Why hello. How art thou, my friends? Life has been a blur lately. How are you? I am doing better than I deserve, and by God's grace I am living each day (though I could learn a thing or two about waiting well).  As I sit in this new and exciting season, I have been trying to be purposeful in how what I do with  the time I have been given. As many of you know, I adore flowers. Like they're my jam! Last year I collected a gallon sized bag of seeds and saved them for the purpose of planting again this year. So, as soon as the weather became warm enough (doesn't take THAT long here in Florida, lol), I prepared the soil and got to planting! Zinnias, Marigolds, Cosmos, Sweetpeas, Dahlias, Texas Blue Bonnets, Poppies, Daisys, Black-eyed Susans, and SO many more. Oh and my mint. Y'all, I love my mint! I had three containers of it that needed to go in the ground and thankfully, they're now thriving in the Florida dirt. *cue a happy dance* Planting, weeding, and watering dail...

There is a lot of good and wonderful things taking place within our household.  For one, my little sister is getting married.  *cue the dancing, and joyous celebrating*  Have I neglected to mention that?  I guess I have!  Well ladies and gents, believe it because it's true!  My 5k running buddy is getting married in just a few short weeks. Also, would you believe that this will be the SECOND wedding for our family within this year? But wait! there's more.  Not only will there have been two weddings in 2022, but we have also had TWO babies born into our family as well.  Little Charlotte was born in the beginning of April to my oldest brother Joseph and his wife, Emily.  Then Tirzah came into the world in the beginning of September.  Her parents are my second brother Timothy and his wife, Alissa.  This brings the total of grand babies to EIGHT!   Eight = new beginnings.   In March my youngest brother, Andrew, got married to ...

It's been 3 weeks since I gained a new sister. I cannot believe that 3 weeks have gone by!  It really does feel like it was just yesterday that we were getting ready for this glorious wedding! I promise, this should  be the last wedding post - hopefully you aren't growing too tired of seeing these. :p Click here  to read part 1, and here  to read part 2. Okay. So. For the post... We awoke to a lovely sunrise with smiles on our faces.  Our happiness grew deeper with each exciting thought of the day to come. We got all dressed up and ready to go by 11:00 am for family pictures.  When we arrived we were able to see some of the groomsmen and the groom having their pictures taken. :)  Such fun! Four of my awesome brothers...plus a very good friend of theirs. Joseph (the groom) has his hands in his pockets.  On the left is Josiah and Andrew is in the shades (I love when he wears these!), and Timothy is on the far right. Standing around and waiting direction... "Stand here...and there...how about everywhere?" I just loved the little flag banners - they were so cute!  ...
