New Awakenings

O how happy I am to see - and smell - that spring, at last, has come to our neck of the woods.
I know that the whole country has had a rough winter filled with ice and snow but new beginnings are right around the corner!

'Tis the time of renewal and rebirth: spring!

Well, I pray that going into this week that you all remember this:  that God is The God of new beginnings!

      A friend of mine game my sister and I that hat and I've only worn it once; however, yesterday seemed like the perfect day to wear it. :-) I wish that I had Margaret's (I just realized that I spelled her name wrong!) attire to wear as well. She dressed to beautifully!

New moth, new verse

It is April (if you already haven't had a chance to take a glance at your calendar)!  This is random, but for some reason when each new moth rolls around I associate it with a color - weird, I know - and this is the list of months typed in the colors that I associate them with: January  February   March  April  May  June  July  August  September  October  November  December I know, it's really weird!  :p Back the post. :-) Part of my new year's resolution was to memorize a verse each month and reflect on it throughout the month. I am on my 4th memory verse of 2014!  :-) How did I decide which verses to memorize?  Well, my parents got my sisters and I a new, beautiful calender at the end of 2013 that was full of Psalm of praise. I was tagged in the Sunshine Award by the lovely  Heidi  over at her blog, Along the Brandywire: A Bit of All the Rest. I may sound like a real geek, but I love these kinds of things; the questions, the answers, every thing about them just makes me smile. :-) So, here are my questions and answers. :-) 1. If you could time travel, would you rather visit medieval England or 1800's Paris? I would have to say Paris in the 1800's.  I'd love to just walk around and observe the fashion and buildings. 2. For relaxation: G.K. Chesterton, C.S. Lewis, or neither? Well, seeing as how I've never read any of G.K. Chesterton's work, I'm gonna  go with C.S. Lewis.  I think even if I knew who G.K.
