New moth, new verse

It is April (if you already haven't had a chance to take a glance at your calendar)!  This is random, but for some reason when each new moth rolls around I associate it with a color - weird, I know - and this is the list of months typed in the colors that I associate them with: January  February   March  April  May  June  July  August  September  October  November  December I know, it's really weird!  :p Back the post. :-) Part of my new year's resolution was to memorize a verse each month and reflect on it throughout the month. While the words of this hymn were etched onto my years ago, the richness and truth of this song ring true even more so today. When I survey the wondrous cross, On which the Prince of glory died, My richest gain I count but loss,  and pour contempt on all my pride. Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast Save in the death of Christ, my God! All the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them through His blood. See, from his head, his hands, his feet, Sorry and love flow mingled down. Did e'er such love and sorrow meet,  Or thorns compose so rich a crown?
