Reflections reveal whom we are

I just wanted to share some Scripture the Lord has used in me in the last few hours.

Num 15:39  And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:

Jer 3:17  At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

Jer 13:10  This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.

Jer 18:12  And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

Prov 27:19 As in water face reflects face, So a man's heart reveals the man.

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings froth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Mat 6:21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

"Most of us don't want to be responsible what our hearts do. But the truth is, your heart is in your possession - it does not posses you. You are who your heart is...according to Scripture, we harden our hearts, deceive our hearts, cherish iniquity in our hearts, and willfully follow our hearts."  Anna Sofia and Elizabeth Botkin

This morning I was convicted with all these powerful truths.  May they be a blessing/conviction in your hearts and lives as well.

So, where is YOUR treasure laid up?
Sarah
